MISS SINGAPORE UNIVERSE 2oo6
Eighteen finalists will be vying for the Singapore Universe 2006 crown.
With smiles that dazzled, these 18 beauties pranced about the catwalk for the cameras. Among them, three were chosen through an SMS voting system by the public. The other 15 were handpicked by judges. Ms Jade Seah, Contestant of Miss Singapore Universe, says: "I'm very proud of Singapore and I joined so that I could be an ambassador of Singapore, to show the world on a global platform what our country has to offer. "
"I think I'm quite a good embodiment of the Singapore woman. I am strong, and independent, and pretty modern, yet I have many Asian values, which is a nice marriage of the two." Ms Michelle Tsai, Contestant of Miss Singapore Universe, says: "I took part in this competition because I wanted to be the fantasy tutor, that students actually fantasize about since I'm a tutor in NTU. "
"On top of that, I felt that I could take on the responsibility as Miss Singapore Universe, representing Singapore in the global platform." The winner will receive a cash prize of $25,000 during the finals on April 9. The event will be broadcasted on Channel 5 -7.30pm.

basically if u saw their biodatas on www.msu2006.com.sg , i think u might agree with me that out of all of them, andrea teo is one of the most eye-catching one. i think she's pretty and kinda sweet-looking :D

however, pics can be deceiving. ldao. maybe on tv, some other girls would look even more beautiful yup ? and when i read the ' three were chosen through an SMS voting system by the public ' on top, it's like so zzz lah. u can imagine only the rich would be benefiting from all these SMS voting system and calling-inS.
